The Ring of Fire, which may be known to some as the, Circum-Pacific Belt or the circum-Pacific seismic belt, is a course accompanying the Pacific Ocean typified by active volcanoes and frequent earthquakes and other natural disasters. Majority of the Earth's earthquakes have taken place in the Ring of Fire, there is a lot of seismic activity here. 75% of the world's volcanoes have taken place in the Ring of Fire, and 90% of earthquakes there. The Ring of Fire is made up of at least 450 active volcanoes, most of them found underwater, and at least 1,500 earthquakes in the Ring of Fire.
